Imagine in early September in 1991 right before a new school year starts, you are watching the late news and see a story unfolding about a major car accident. The news reporter is on the scene sharing the details of the accident as the camera shows a body being removed from a twisted hunk of metal thanks to the Jaws of Life. Sympathy rushes through your veins but then all of a sudden PANIC sets in when you realize it is YOUR NIECE! Phones start ringing off the hook because YOUR daughter was out with a friend shopping for new clothes on the eve of a new school year. Making things even more traumatic is the fact that your daughter in this accident is also pregnant!
Join “Doc Val” and “The Voice” as they welcome featured guest Racheal Ringer, now a member of the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad to “give back” to the community that saved her and her friend’s life. Unfortunately, the news was not good regarding her unborn daughter. Racheal and her friend were hit by a drunk driver. Racheal’s message is very simple and direct: DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE! You’ll also hear how Racheal and the other driver actually connected many years later.
